PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Energy Conservation Institute™ assists professional organizations by providing hands-on training programs and BPI® approved curriculum for license. Programs are designed to prepare instructors and students for industry recognized certifications such as Building Analyst and Building Envelope Professional.

Following BPI® standards, our training focuses on providing a prescriptive approach to solving key building performance issues affecting health and safety, comfort, and energy consumption. We have carefully designed each training module to ensure key subjects are well illustrated and that a professional, high quality program is maintained throughout.

Through an innovative and quality driven approach, we assist organizations seeking to fast-track their building performance and energy auditor education programs. Services include:

  • Curriculum licensing and custom branded training courses 
  • Assistance with obtaining BPI® Affiliate Organization status
  • Train-the-trainer courses; onsite using our portable Building Performance Lab or at our facility in CA 
  • BPI® proctor orientation (as required for affiliate status)
  • Program implementation and workforce development assistance
     

CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Approved for use by BPI® Authorized Training Affiliates, our custom tailored curriculum allows students to spend less time in the classroom and more time in the field. With a total of 20 content rich and professionaly designed PowerPoint presentations, students are prepared for BPI® exams through a series of challenging quizzes, learning objectives, calculation and observable performances, and a final 150 question practice quiz. Training modules include:
